New Delhi: The Premier League has reached the mid-point of the season with matchday 19 entering after a hectic week in the top tier of English football. Liverpool are currently dominating the points table on the back of their two consecutive wins in the week and are now six points clear at the top.
A draw and a loss in their last two games means Chelsea are now at the third spot, just one point behind Arsenal. With six games being played on Sunday, it is crucial for Manchester City as well, who have been struggling in the season lately and are currently placed seventh.

Manchester City at Etihad Stadium will be desperate to climb out of the slump they have hit in recent times. In the midweek clash, Man City managed to take home just one point against Everton, as the atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium kept getting low. Though Bernardo Silva had put City ahead early, Iliman Ndiaye equalized soon. Erling Haaland missed a penalty later, which meant Pep Guardiola’s men had failed to win in the Premier League for the eighth time in the last nine games and have a point to prove at the King Power Stadium.
Ruud van Nistelorroy’s Leicester City had almost sent the leaders Liverpool in shock with an early at the Anfield. However, before halftime, the Reds had equalized before taking away all three points from Leicester. While the loss against table leaders was no shock, the Foxes losing three games in a row and Wolverhampton Wanderers winning against Man United means Leicester are now in the relegation zone.
Predicted Lineup
Leicester City: Stolarczyk; Justin, Okoli, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Winks, Soumare; Decordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi; Vardy
Manchester City: Ortega; Lewis, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol; Kovacic; Savinho, Silva, De Bruyne, Foden; Haaland
