New Delhi: South star Fahadh Faasil recently left fans concerned after reportedly stating that he was clinically diagnosed with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41. The Aavesham actor made the shocking revelation while inaugurating the Peace Valley School near Kothamangalam on Sunday (May 26, 2024).
A news agency further quoted him saying that he even asked a doctor whether it was easy to cure ADHD. The medical professional informed Fahadh that it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age.
For the uninitiated, ADHD is said to be a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects the brain’s ability to regulate attention, behavior, and impulse control. The condition is believed to be common in children but can also impact adults.

On the professional front, Fahadh is currently gearing up for the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The Allu Arjun starrer is touted to be one of the biggest films of 2024. According to the rumour street of the showbiz arena, the movie is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore. The flick is considered among the most expensive Indian films to date.
The Sukumar directorial has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movie Makers banner. It also features Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is the second installment in the Pushpa franchise and serves as a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, released in 2021. It will be out in cinemas on August 15, 2024.
