New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) registered a historic victory in the last league match of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Tuesday against Lucknow Super Giants confirming the second spot on the points table. While the bowling unit couldn’t do much from their side, the batters shined for the franchise powering them to am imposing chase.

After completing their highest-ever chase in the cash-rich league, RCB accomplished a major feat in IPL which has been achieved by none other team. RCB’s reply was more solid as Virat Kohli and Phil Salt laid the foundation for the away team followed by a rollicking knock of unbeaten 85 by stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma and Mayank Agarwal (41*) to see the side home with eight balls to spare. This was Bengaluru’s highest run-chase in the tournament’s history and one of the most memorable chase ever in the tournament.
