REVEALED! Real Madrid’s highest paid star revealed after a massive bonus

New Delhi: When you are a part of the biggest club in world football, you just know that you will be making big money. As the world’s best football player at the moment, Vinícius Jr. has cemented his status as Real Madrid’s top earner and player. The Brazilian winger’s earnings are now unrivaled within the club after he was awarded FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player at a renowned ceremony in Qatar, where the winner was chosen by votes cast by captains, coaches, journalists, and supporters from FIFA’s 200+ member associations.

Sources familiar with the negotiations claim that the award activated a bonus clause that, for the last two years of Vinicius’s present contract, sets his net annual income at €20 million.

Vinícius’ agent, Frederico Pena, negotiated a progressive structure when he extended his Real Madrid contract in 2022. Initially, the arrangement includes performance-based incentives and is expected to average €15 million net annually over five seasons (2022–2027). His pay is further increased if he wins FIFA’s The Best or places in the top three for the Ballon d’Or.

Vinícius’s rising star status is reflected in his income trajectory. His pay was mostly dependent on his playing time and performance when he originally joined Real Madrid from Flamengo at the age of 18. His base pay increased to €4.7 million net yearly by 2022. That amount increased to €15 million after the renewal, and he currently earns €20 million, the highest salary of any Real Madrid player.

Future negotiations between Real Madrid and Vinicius

This summer will be crucial for Real Madrid as they are ready to renegotiate Vinícius’s contract. Even though Saudi Arabia has shown a lot of interest and provides high salaries, Vinícius has always stated his allegiance to Real Madrid. His exclamation of joy, “Eu aqui!” (I’m here!), highlights his resolve to stick with the team he grew up dreaming of playing for.

However, the club’s balancing act with other elite players makes things more difficult. Despite earning a base wage comparable to Vinícius, Kylian Mbappé, who joined Madrid on a free transfer, reportedly received a €20 million signing bonus split over five years. Jude Bellingham, who scored 23 goals in his breakthrough season, is also in line for a raise to match Madrid’s highest paid players.

Real Madrid’s highest earner has been revealed, thanks to a massive bonus that underscores the player’s impact on the pitch. So is it Mbappe, Vinicius or Bellingham? Let’s find out.  Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
