New Delhi: Banks in India are closed every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, according to Reserve Bank of India’s rules. In November 2024, while the second Saturday of the month was on November 9, the 4th Saturday was on November 23. Saturday, November 30, 2024, is the 5th Saturday of the month. Hence, banks will remain open today across India. The month of November witnessed more than 15 bank holidays across the country to commemorate various occasions and festivals apart from elections in Maharashtra as well as weekly offs for bank staffers.
