Should you buy IRCTC, NBCC shares? What Stock Market expert said

New Delhi: Stock Market expert Arun Mantri on Wednesday recommended stock market investors to buy shares of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and NBCC. The expert advised to buy the counters on dips.

Giving his views on IRCTC stock, Arun Mantri said any major decline in the share price will be a good opportunity to add on to the portfolio. IRCTC have been a major outperformer and the recent short term correction may a good time to accmuluate the counter for long term perspective. The results were below market expectations so some dip in the price may be expected at the start of the trade, the expert stated.

Suggesting investors to ‘Buy’ NBCC shares on dips, the expert said the state-owned firm has declared a good set of numbers and is looking strong on technical charts. Giving a ‘Buy’ rating on NBCC, Mantri said any major decline in the stock may be again a good opportunity for long term.investors to accumulate the counter. The support for the stock is around 125-128 on the lower side, he added.

IRCTC Q4 Results 2024

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation on May 28 declared Q4 Results 2024. It reported a net profit of Rs 284 crore for the last quarter of the previous fiscal year. It attributed the rise in profits to higher ticket sales.

IRCTC’s revenue jumped 20 per cent and stood at Rs 1,154.8 crore, while the company that offers online tickets and manages food services on trains reported a 19 per cent rise in revenue from operations which stood at Rs 1,155 crore in the quarter. It was Rs 965 crore in the Q4 of 2022-23.

NBCC Q4 Results 2024 

In its Q4 Results 2024, NBCC Ltd reported a 26 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 136.08 crore, while the net profit was recorded at Rs 108.4 crore in the year-ago period. The state-owned firm’s income from operations increased to Rs 4,024.5 crore. The net profit spiked to Rs 401.55 crore from Rs 266.66 crore in the preceding year.
