The festival opened with Vaibhav Arekar’s Bharatanatyam solo Naama Mhane, a spiritual journey inspired by Sant Namdev. The Tanusree Shankar Dance Company followed with Nrityavyvidhyam, merging Indian roots with modern aesthetics.
The avant-garde As We Are (AWA) Company from Luxembourg will then take the stage with Shoot the Cameraman, redefining the performer-camera dynamic.
The grand finale unites two unique collaborations: Odissi maestro Sujata Mohapatra, embodying tradition and transformation, and an electrifying Kathak-Flamenco fusion by Aditi Bhagwat and Bettina Castaño, crafting a new movement language beyond borders.
The festival will be held at NCPA’s Tata Theatre and Experimental Theatre.
