New Delhi: Indian indices closed in red on Thursday as investors were disappointed by the RBI’s decision to hold the repo rate unchanged. Here are stocks that are likely to remain in focus on Friday, August 9, 2024:

Biocon: The Kiran Mazumdar Shaw led comoany reported a 6X rise in Q1 net profit to Rs 660 crore on the back of a one-time gain from a partnership between Biocon and Eris Lifesciences

SJVN: The company’s unit SJVN Green ENErgy commissioned a 90MW floating solar power project in Onkareshwar, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

Sobha: The real estate company reported a 49.2 per cent decline in Q1 net profit to Rs 6.1 crore
for Rs 12 crore a year ago.

LIC: The country’s largest life insurer reported a Q1 net profit of Rs 10,461 crore. The company reported a jump in premiums to Rs 7,470 crore.

Concor: The PSU company reported a 5.8 per cent rise in Q1 net profit to Rs 259.3 crore from Rs 245 crore a year ago. Revenues rose 9.4 per cent to Rs 2,103.1 crore

Utkarsh SFB: The small finance bank received the RBI’s nod for a rise in authorised capital to Rs 2,000 crore from Rs 1,500 crore earlier.

SAIL: The steelmaker reported a decline in Q1 net profit to Rs 81.8 crore.

Ircon International: The comoany reported a 17 per cent decline in Q1 revenues to Rs 2,287.1 crore from Rs 2,763.8 crore a year ago. The company’s Q1 net profit rose 19.5 per cent to Rs 224 crore during the same period.

Cochin Shipyard: The company’s Q1 net profit rose 76.5 per cent to Rs 174.2 crore, while revenue was up 61.1 per cent to Rs 771.5 crore.

RVNL: The PSU company reported a decline in Q1 revenues to Rs 4,074 crore, down 27 per cent from Rs 5,571.6 crore a year ago.
