New Delhi: The share price of UltraTech Cement, India Cements, BHEL, JSW Infrastructure, Zomato and Raymond are expected to be in news on Friday.

BHEL

BHEL has sealed a Rs 13,300 crore deal with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) to set up a 1600 MW thermal power plant in Koderma in Jharkhand. Union Power Ministry conformed that the DVC has finalised the tender for the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) package of Koderma TPS (2X800MW), in Jharkhand with Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) for Rs 13,300 crore on June 26, 2024.

JSW Infrastructure

JSW Infrastructure announced to acquire 70.37 per cent shareholding in Navkar Corporation for around Rs 1,012 crore. “JSW Infrastructure through its wholly owned subsidiary JSW Port Logistics has agreed to acquire 70.37 per cent shareholding held by promoters and promoter group in Navkar,” it said.

UltraTech Cement

Aditya Birla Group flagship company UltraTech Cement confirmed acquiring a 23 per cent stake in former BCCI president N Srinivasan-led India Cements Ltd for over Rs 1,900 crore. UltraTech Cement acquired Damani-group’s stake in India Cements Ltd through two block deals.

UltraTech Cement purchased a total of 7,05,64,656 shares. The shares were purchased in the price range of Rs 265.05-283.3.

Zomato

Zomato has confirmed plans to expand its ‘restaurant services hub’ across the country. Currently, the online food ordering and delivery platform offers services related to staffing and licensing essentials to restaurants through its restaurant services hub. The company informed that its restaurant services hub has already serviced over 3,200 restaurants and plans to expand its business to all restaurants across India.

Raymond

Raymond Ltd on June 27 said its shareholders have approved the reappointment of Gautam Hari Singhania as Chairman & Managing Director for a term of five years effective from July 1, 2024. “The shareholders of the company at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) held today (June 27) have approved the re-appointment of Singhania. The AGM commenced at 3 pm and concluded at 4:05 pm,” Raymond Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
