New Delhi: The Indian cricket team received a grand traditional welcome as they reached Delhi on Monday ahead of the 2nd T20I against Bangladesh. The Indian players looked in a jolly mood as they enjoyed the rousing reception. India are currently leading the three-match series 1-0 after thrashing Bangladesh by six wickets in the 1st T20I in Gwalior on Sunday and will be looking to seal the series with a second win in a row. As the Indian team left Gwalior to travel to Delhi for the second game, BCCI shared a video of the trip. In the video, the Indian players were welcomed with dhol and special chants for each player.
“Suryakumar India ki shaan,” the band members chanted for Suryakumar before the Indian skipper broke into impromptu dance moves. Earlier, during the flight, the Indian team’s bowling coach Morne Morkel was seen working on his laptop. “Non-stop work, non-stop work,” Morkel was heard saying as the camera panned towards him.
