Emkay Global has initiated a Buy rating on Tata Steel with a target price of Rs 185 per equity share. Nuvama Institutional Equities has changed its stance from hold to Buy. The brokerage has set a target price of Rs 177 apiece. Another popular brokerage firm, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, maintained a neutral stance in regards to Tata Steel shares.
Tata Steel Q4 2024-25 Results
In its Q4 Results of 2024-25, Tata Steel reported a consolidated EBITDA of Rs 25,802 crores for the entire financial year.
Tata Steel’s revenues from India stood at Rs 34,661 crore and EBITDA was recorded at Rs 7,418 crore in FY25, while the UK revenues were 551 million pounds and EBITDA loss stood at 80 million pounds, and the Netherlands revenues were 624 million euros and EBITDA was 14 million euros.
Tata Steel group is among the top global steel companies with an annual crude steel capacity of 35 million tonnes per annum. The group recorded a consolidated turnover of around $26 billion in the financial year ending March 31, 2025.
Senior officials of Tata Steel informed that capital expenditure of Rs 15,000 crore has been earmarked for its operations in India, the UK and the Netherlands in 2025-26. CEO & MD T V Narendran and Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Koushik Chatterjee confirmed to PTI that of the total, around 80 percent will be spent on ongoing projects in India.
“For FY26, we are looking to have a capex of Rs 15,000 crore,” Narendran said.
