New Delhi: WWE’s first-ever RAW show was telecast on Netflix and after 1,649 RAW episodes, WWE cut down the show from the TV. WWE welcome the fans in the new era and the era started with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The Rock received a great standing ovation from the fans and praised WWE for moving to Netflix.
The Rock acknowledged the Tribal combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. He supported Reigns to win the match and came out as the original Tribal chief. After the Rock segment, the Tribal combat match was set up and Reigns and Sikoa were face to face in the first match of the historic show.
Reigns won the match against Sikoa and became the Tribal chief with the help of his family. Reigns regained the Ula Fala and after the match, Paul Heyman came to the ring and bowed down in front of Reigns but The Rock made his entrance to the ring.
He snatched the Ula Fala from Heyman and put it around the neck of Reigns. Fans started chanting ‘OTC’ in the arena.
John Cena was in the arena and made his entrance with a towel that said ‘The last time is now’ and started running to the ring. Cena thanked Netflix for the experience and praised WWE as he couldn’t get any better place to start his farewell tour.
Cena was pumped up and announced this year’s Royal Rumble will be his last and he will try to win it and then go to WrestleMania 41 to challenge the WWE champion. He wants to win his 17th championship in WWE.
