Washington: Donald Trump has won the US presidential election and its not just the Democrats who are in a state of shock. The list include some Hollywood celebrities also who had made bold statements ahead of the elections that they might have to leave the country if Trump manages to get into the White House. Since the results have come now, the world is keenly watching their next move.
According to Fox News, many Hollywood celebrities including Sharon Stone, Cher and Barbra Streisand, proudly vocalised their opinion about Donald Trump and had threatened that they will leave the United States if the Republican candidate wins the Presidential elections.
Sharon Stone in an earlier conversation in July 2024 with the Daily Mail had said, “I am certainly considering a house in Italy” adding this was one of the first times in her life that she was actually seeing anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.
While another public figure, Cher had said, “I almost got an ulcer the last time. If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave (the country).”
Sharon Vonne Stone is an American actress, painter and former model. She’s known for primarily playing femme fatales and women of mystery on film and television.
Stone is the recipient of Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a nomination for an Academy Award. While Cher is an American singer, actress, and television personality. Fans also refer Sher as “Goddess of Pop”.
Trump’s marks biggest ever come back
Riding upon the agenda of nationalism, nation first, America and its people first, Donald Trump led the Republican party to register one of its greatest victory ever against Democrats in the recently concluded Presidential elections.
The Republican party with 295 electoral votes stands way above the required numbers of 270 which is needed to claim the majority at 295. This is a landslide victory.
While Kamala Harris is restricted to 226.
One of the major reasons Republicans managed to register a mammoth win is their dominance in the key swing states and especially Pennsylvania, the home state of the incumbent Joe Biden .
PM Modi calls his friend Trump after victory in US elections
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called his friend Donald Trump to congratulate him on the historic victory in the US election saying let’s together work for the welfare of the people and global peace.
According to sources, Trump told PM Modi that the whole world loves him adding he and India are true friends. Trump further said that Prime Minister is one of the first world leaders he spoke to after his victory.
