Sydney To Delhi In 36 Minutes? Musk says ‘It’s Possible’
The social media post mentioned that Starship can attain a top speed of 27,000 kmph and through it, the distance between Tokyo and Delhi can be reduced to 30 minutes, Sydney to Delhi in 36 minutes, Hong Kong and Singapore in 22 minutes, Los Angeles to Toronto in 24 minutes, Bangkok to Dubai and Singapore in 27 minutes, Tokyo to Singapore in 28 minutes etc.
“This is now possible,” Elon Musk replied in the post.
Meanwhile, in a big move, Elon Musk-owned Space X recently secured a big deal with India’s Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ), to launch the GSAT-20 communications satellite.
The launch is all set to take place early next week using Space X’s Falcon 9 rocket.
Why ISRO Opted For Space X?
The Indian space agency has previously relied on French commercial launch service provider Arianespace for such heavy satellite launches.
However, the company currently does not have any operational rockets at present and with no current options from Russia due to the Ukraine conflict, and China amid off-limits, SpaceX seemed the best available option for India.
