Mumbai: The shares of Reliance Power, Indian Railway Finance Corp Ltd (IRFC) and Bajaj Housing Finance are making news on September 18, 2024 (Wednesday).
The stock markets declined in early trade on Wednesday as IT stocks – HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services dragged. The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped declined 130.24 points to 82,949.42 in early tarde and The NSE Nifty dipped 37.75 points to 25,380.80.
Reliance Power share price
Reliance Power shares are in focus today as the stock hit upper circuit in early trade. The shares of Anil Ambani-led company are in news today after it informed the stock exchanges that Vidarbha Industries Power Limited (VIPL) will cease to be a subsidiary of RPower effective September 19, 2024. The stock was trading at Rs 32.97 at 9:52 am today.
IRFC share price
The Indian Railway Finance Corp Ltd (IRFC) shares were trading with gains of over 1 per cent at 162.89 at 9:53 am. It may be noted that the Railway PSU stock, which was a hot favourite of investors, has dropped over 6 cent in the past three months. The scrip gained over 20 per cent in the past six months and more than 110 per cent in the last one year
Bajaj Housing Finance share price
The shares of newly-listed Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd today were trading over 2 per cent down at Rs 176.76 at 10:03 am. The stock gained 10 per cent to hit the upper circuit limit on Tuesday. The scrip appreciated over 155 per cent from its issue price of Rs 70. With the stock gaining, the company’s market valuation climbed to around Rs 1,51,139.21 crore.
Hero Motocorp share price
Hero Motocorp shares were in positive territory in the morning trade today. The automobile stock has gained over 16 per cent, 33 per cent and more than 90 per cent in the last one month, six months and one year respectively.
