New Delhi: The shares of Vodafone Idea, GMR Power, Western Carriers, Tata Steel, Reliance Power and some other companies are in top trends on September 24, 2024 morning. After opening on lower note, the BSE Sensex recovered and touched the 85,00-level for the first time today. The barometer was tarding at 84,974.06 at 10:14 am. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty also recovered from the early losses and was at 25,960.25.
Vodafone Idea share price
Vodafone Idea shares were trading atRs 10.08 apiece at 9:40 am today. Vodafone Idea has struck a mega $3.6 billion deal worth about Rs 30,000 crore to Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung for supply of 4G and 5G network equipment for three years. Meanwhile, the debt-ridden Vodafone, which suffered a severe blow after the Supreme Court rejected its curative petition for correction in the calculation of the statutory dues and waiver of penalty and interest thereof, on Monday appealed to the central government for relief on Rs 70,000 crore adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues.
GMR Power share price
GMR Power & Urban Infra Ltd, which has rallied over 300 per cent in the last one year, is making a buzz after brokerage firm Emkay Global projected that the stock has the potential to rally 38 per cent in a bull case. The stock gained 5 per cent today morning and was trading at Rs 156.04 at 9:46 am.
Western Carriers share price
The shares of Western Carriers got listed at the BSE and NSE with a discount of 1.16 per cent. The stock was listed at Rs 170 on BSE, while on the NSE, the scrip listed at Rs 171. The Western Carriers IPO issue price was Rs 172.
Reliance Power share price
Reliance Power shares today surged 5 per cent and hit the upper circuit as the company’s board approved Rs 1,525 crore preferential issue. “We hereby inform you that the Board of Directors at its Meeting held today i.e., Monday, September 23, 2024, has approved issuance of up to 46,20,00,000 equity shares and/or warrants convertible into equity shares of the Company at an Issue Price of Rs. 33/- per share aggregating Rs. 1524.60 crore through preferential allotment,” Reliance Power stated in a filing to the exchanges.
Tata Steel share price
Tata Steel shares are in focus today as the company inaugurated a new blast furnace at its Kalinganagar plant in Odisha. Tata Steel shares trading with over 3 per cent gains at Rs 159.36 at 10:19 am.
