New Delhi: UFC 304 press conference held on July 25, Thursday at Manchester, England. Six fighters were present in the press conference as UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards, Belal Muhammad, UFC Interm Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall, Curtis Blaydes, Paddy Pimblett, and King Green.
Edwards is defending his UFC Welterweight title for the third time as he goes head-to-head against Belal, Edwards and Belal took UFC 304 on fire as both fighters did not flinch in the face-off and were involved in a verbal brawl.
Lightweight contender King Green requested Dana to double up the performance bonus saying ‘could you do 100’ and then the crowd cheered up and also local boy Edwards supported Green then Dana agreed and increased the performance bonus from $50k to $100k. This is not the first time Dana increased the bonus in the press conference, earlier this year at UFC 300 fighters requested Dana to make a special 300k bonus in the remarkable UFC 300 event.
After the bonus announcement, Belal was seen cheering then immediately Edwards interjected and trolled him saying “Belal don’t worry about that, you’re knocking no one out!” Belal has landed zero knockdowns in his last five fights. The first fight between both fighters was declared as No contest because of unintentional eye poke by Edwards.
Israel Adesanya predicts results of UFC 304
UFC former middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya predicted Edwards will knockout Belal in the second or third round. Adesanya praised Edwards saying ‘he is now on another planet, he is like a massacre, The Last Stylebender also felt this is Leon’s fight to lose as Belal only had one submission victory and one TKO in his last 15 fights. In the co-main event, Adesanya picked Tom Aspinall to win by TKO, Tom’s power is unmatchable and Blayed is now on downfall in his career. He also picked King Green to finish homeboy Paddy Pimblett.
