Shifting focus to the economy, Trump said, “We’ll handle inflation, you know how we’ll handle it, we’ll drill, drill, drill,” while advising Robert F. Kennedy to stay out of the “liquid gold.” He then briefly spoke about ISIS, claiming he defeated the group in four weeks.

Trump responded on Sunday, saying, “sounds OK to me.”

Discussing his management of the southern border and the economy, he said, “We had the safest border in the history of our country the day that I left,” adding, “I shouldn’t have left, I mean honestly.”

Trump has consistently and falsely, claimed that fraud influenced the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, which he lost to President Joe Biden. Following the election, he pursued legal challenges in multiple states, but these fraud claims were ultimately dismissed by the courts.
