New Delhi: Continuing on their path of divinity, star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma headed to the pious city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning, seeking blessings at the famous Ram Janmabhoomi and the Hanumangarhi temple. Kohli, currently with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, has been in Lucknow for the last few days and reportedly travelled with his family in a car.
The ace batter was seen with his wife Anushka climbing the stairs of the Hanumangarhi temple amid a tight security that accompanied them throughout their temple visits. The two stars were guided by a temple chief who took them into the sanctum sanctorum, where the priest put a garland on their neck and made a holy mark on their heads as the couple bowed in respect, offering their prayers at the religious sites.
