Shanghai: At least three people were killed and some 15 people sustained injuries after a 37-year-old man went on a stabbing spree inside a Walmart store in Shanghai.
As per reports, the incident occurred on Monday night at the Walmart store located in Shanghai’s Songjiang area, when the suspect came to the city “to vent out his anger due to personal financial disputes,” the police said.
The officials further said that they detained the suspect on Tuesday.
The police further added that the injured people were rushed to the hospital for treatment and no one sustained “life-threatening wounds” and are believed to be out of danger.

In September, a 10-year-old Japanese boy was stabbed to death near his school in Shenzhen.
Meanwhile, in May, two people were killed and 10 were injured after a woman went on a stabbing spree at a primary school in Jiangxi province.
