New Delhi, India: The Canadian Police has arrested Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla, a close associate of the slain terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. According to sources, Dalla was taken into custody following a shootout in Canada on the night of October 27-28, 2024, in which he was reportedly involved.
While Canadian police have not officially confirmed Dalla’s detention, Indian agencies are closely monitoring the situation.
The shootout took place in Milton, Ontario, and led to two men being taken to a hospital in Guelph on October 28. One of the men was treated and released after being shot in the Halton area, while the other was unharmed.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is currently investigating the incident, with both men arrested and charged with attempted murder. The identities of the injured men have not been revealed, raising suspicions about the full extent of the event and Dalla’s possible involvement.
Arsh Dalla, a key figure in the Khalistani terrorist network, has been living in Canada for several years with his wife, according to Indian security agencies.
Dalla was placed on India’s Ministry of Home Affairs terrorist list in January 2023. His ties to Nijjar, the KTF (Khalistan Tiger Force) leader who was also killed in Canada, have raised concerns over ongoing Khalistani activities in the region.
While official confirmation is still pending from Canadian authorities, the arrest of Arsh Dalla could mark a major breakthrough in efforts to combat Khalistani extremism.
