Everyone was amazed at Martinez’s awareness and ability to get down so quickly. The 32-year-old has been performing well for the Premier League side, especially in the Champions League, where he has managed to keep four clean sheets in six games. Despite the remarkable effort, the lead was short-lived, as Nottingham went to score twice, and the hosts are now placed at sixth of the Premier League table. The loss does mean that Villa’s inconsistent performance continued into matchday 16. Villa have seven times collecting 25 points.
