New Delhi: Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has come out from immense pressure after a win against Nottingham Forest. Before the game, City had lost four consecutive games while their performances in the UEFA Champions League hadn’t been impressive either. The pressure clearly got Guardiola when City lost 2-0 to Liverpool, the title contenders, at Anfield.
A video has now gone viral which shows the City manager get into altercation with Liverpool fans. The incident has been reportedly occured after the Premier League fixture. The clip shows Catalan manager walking down the street when a Reds fan was heard commenting about the loss. To this Guardiola was quickly instigated and was about to respond but was stopped by those accompanying him.

Fans have since reacted to the altercation saying that the 53-year-old was losing his mind with the mounting pressure of injuries and losses. Throughout the game the crowd at Anfield was chanting about being sacked by the next morning. To this Guardiola had shown six fingers noting his total Premier League trophies with the club.
The gap between City and Liverpool has since diminished to nine points after Liverpool played a draw in the mid-week fixtures of the Premier League. Despite the win, pressure remains high on Guardiola and his team as they come to face Crystal Palace. They have lost three consecutive away games. City’s Champions League finish is at stake. Their season has been borderline inconsistent and underwhelming.
They have no doubt the firepower to win games with Erling Haaland’s scoring abilities and Kevin De Bruyne making a comeback into the side. Their star midfielder Rodri’s absence due to injury has made City’s defences very easy to break which has made scoring against the side easy.
