New Delhi: After the culmination of the T20I series, India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the ODI series starting on Friday. The Men in Blue continued their remarkable effort from the T20 World Cup emerging triumphant in the three T20I games and would like to continue their moment in the 50-over games as well.
Meanwhile, ahead of the first fixture, skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir were seen in a candid moment as the duo along with other teammates waited for their team bus. With a plenty of visuals emerging of healthy relationship between the two, it seems that the new story has started on a good note.

In the video which has popped up, Rohit Sharma can be seen sharing a light moment with Gautam Gambhir as the entire Indian team waits for the bus and both of them seem to be talking to someone in the bus or close to it with the environment around the team looking quite relaxed before the series opener.

While there has been a coldness in the relationship between Gambhir and Kohli, thew head coach of the Indian cricket team has always shared a good relation with skipper Rohit. Senior pros Rohit and Virat Kohli will again be seen in action in the 50-over game after both the players retired from the shortest format after the World Cup triumph.
The first ODI is slated to be played on 2nd of August and all the matches will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. It will be interesting to see how the veteran players fare in the ODIs.
