New Delhi: Drew McIntyre kicked off the WWE RAW episode as he stood in the center of the ring. McIntyre was beaten hard in the Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk. After the fight, he got sixteen staples in his head and nearly broke his back in the match.
After the brutal match, he went to his hometown in Scotland and was out of action for a couple of months. Now he made his return to the ring and smocked Sami Zayn in the last RAW episode. Zayn interrupted McIntyre’s speech and both superstars set up their match in the main event of the night.
McIntyre started things off by kicking Zayn and chopping him to the corner. Zayn tried to duck McIntyre’s kick but Scottish countered Zayn with a slingshot to the chin. McIntyre pulled him to the ropes and Zayn was in trouble as he was beaten hard by McIntyre.
Zayn tried to counter McIntyre and sent him to the ring post climbed to the top rope and tried to hit him. But McIntyre grabbed Zayn in the air and put him down on the ground. At last, McIntyre hit Zayn with a Glasgow kiss and charged him with his signature Claymore kick, and pinned Zayn.

Some matches were also announced by WWE for the New Year’s Eve show. Damian Priest will team up with World Tag Team champions The War Raiders and batlle out against The Judgement Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dirty Dominik Mysterio).
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship semi-finals will also take place in the next week’s RAW episode. Chad Gable will take on Otis.
