New Delhi: The tone for the final blue brand program before the big event next week was established by this week’s SmackDown, which advanced the plot of WrestleMania 41. Friday Night SmackDown’s April 11th show was broadcast from Seattle, Washington’s Climate Pledge Arena. The event was packed with action and had some memorable moments, which added to the excitement leading up to WrestleMania 41. In the ring, Randy Orton and Nick Aldis were facing each other for the opening segment of Smackdown.

Following Kevin Owens’ announcement of his surgery, Orton remained adamant about finding a new opponent for WrestleMania 41. Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa attacked Randy Orton after coming out to stop them. As a result, LA Knight entered the ring and defeated the pair, setting up a tag bout for later that evening.

 

Women’s Tag Team gauntlet match

The purpose of this event was to determine the top-seeded candidates for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at WrestleMania 41. The game began with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria’s team playing Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Natalya and Maxxine Dupri entered the contest after Stark and Baszler were eliminated, but they were also eliminated. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance entered the match next, but Bayley and Valkyria also defeated them. Michin and B-Fab were the next team to enter, but Bayey got rid of B-Fab to move on. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre were the final two teams to enter. A chant of “This is Awesome” resulted during their back-and-forth match. Lyra ultimately won the bout for her team by pinning Alba after planting her.

Drew McIntyre destroys Damian Priest

Damian Priest was brutally attacked by Drew McIntyre prior to his arrival at the ring. McIntyre stated that he was clear about wrestling and that his eye injury had healed. A fight broke out between the two as Priest returned to the ringside. Ultimately, though, McIntyre prevailed, raking Priest’s eyes and using a Future Shock DDT on the steel steps.

Rey Fenix vs Berto

Rey Fenix appeared in his second game for the organisation. Inside the ring, both guys produced a fast-paced, action-packed thriller. Rey Fenix won the fight by hitting Berto with a Mexican Muscle Buster in the closing seconds.

Chelsea Green (W. United States Champion) vs Zelina Vega

This match was booked but much to the frustrations of Zelina, it was a non title match. She was astonished to learn that Zelina Vega had won and Chelsea Green had been ruled out as the match concluded in minutes.

Cody trying to be somebody

Various iterations of the WWE Championship were positioned on podiums when Cody Rhodes entered the ring. He looked at the WWE title spinner and honoured all of the previous champions, including John Cena. Rhodes blasted Cena and declared that he would not allow Cena to finish his nefarious schemes at WrestleMania 41 while still holding the WWE Championship.

Tiffany Stratton vs Roxanne Perez

It was a non title match between two of the top Women’s superstars in the roster. There was a tonne of action in the encounter as the two WWE NXT mainstays put on an incredibly engaging battle. As the fight came to a close, Stratton took the initiative and gave Perez the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to win. After the fight, Charlotte Flair unexpectedly showed up and beat Tiffany Stratton.

Randy Orton & LA Knight (US Champions) vs Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga

This was the night’s major event. The match between the four SmackDown superstars was a terrific showdown. After The Megastar planted Tama Tonga with the BFT, the LA Knight and Randy Orton duo ultimately won. He did not, however, have a good night since Jacob Fatu surprised him with a blow and gave him several moonsaults to end the performance.

 Another edition of Smackdown saw some electrifying moments as Randy Orton was in search for an opponent for Wrestlemania while Damian Priest was left lifeless after a blind-sight attack from Drew McIntyre.  WWE Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
