New Delhi: Randy Orton made his return to the WWE Smackdown at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States on September 28, Saturday. Orton welcomes the fans and applauds Cody Rhodes that he trusts only one man in WWE and that is Rhodes. Rhodes and Orton have known each other for years and it’s hard for Orton to believe that Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on The Bloodline at Bad Blood.
After that, Rhodes made his entrance and fans started chanting ‘Rhodes’. He asked Orton what he wanted to talk about and looked disappointed to team up with Reigns for the Bad Blood event. Rhodes explained to Orton that Reigns looked into his eyes and gave him his words for Bad Blood.
Rhodes told Orton that this matchup would not hurt Orton and then extended his hand and shook hands with Orton. In response, Orton said he has no problem until Rhodes makes it a problem to team up with rivals.
Kevin Owens also made his appearance in the ring with Rhodes and Orton. At the same time, Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline family also appeared in the ring. Sikoa also made his return to the ring after a week. Sikoa started his beef with Rhodes and warned him about teaming up with Reigns. In reply, Owens said who cares about what Sikoa is thinking?
The main event of the night was set after this segment The Bloodline family take on Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Bayley defeated Naomi for the WWE women’s championship number 1 contender fight. Naomi started the things off and hut a splash off to Bayley which Bayley moved out on her way. Both fighters were seen pushing each other in the ring and then Bayley dragged Naomi to the ground.
Naomi fought back and started climbing on the top rope and jumped but Bayley moved out of the way and hit her signature move bayley to belly climbed on the top rope and landed an elbow drop and defeated Naomi via pinfall to become the new number 1 contender for women’s WWE championship.
