New Delhi: The much-awaited Champions Trophy 2025 is ready to provide all the fans nothing short of a visual treat as a minimum of 36 cameras with a lot analytical tools and visual enhancements will elevate the experience of the viewers. Along with the 36 cameras, 360 degree virtual field model will also be used to broadcast the matches of the eight-team event, the ICC has said.

Hosts Pakistan and New Zealand kickstart the campaign with a game in Karachi on Wednesday, February 19. The global governing body said that to enrich the viewing experience, the Quidich Innovation Labs will deliver Field 360 degree, a virtual field model that illustrates fielding positions and strategies in real-time.

Drone camera to offer complete view of the venues

Their drone camera will also offer a complete aerial view of the venues along with the surroundings while there will be a roving buggy camera which will deliver immersive ground-level visuals. Spidercams will also be functional during the games which will further enhance the broadcast with its aerial coverage offering a holistic perspective of the matches.

Apart from comprehensive broadcast coverage, the ICC TV will also collaborate with JioStar to make an effort to engage mobile-first audiences thereby enhancing the experience of the smartphone users. As far as the commentary panel in concerned, there will be four Indian experts with Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Dinesh Karthik and Harsha Bhogle in the panel while some other panellists would be from Pakistan, England, New Zealand and Australia.

While the Men in Green and Black Caps lock horns in the tournament opener, Team India will play their first match against Bangladesh a day after on February 20, Thursday. The Men in Blue will play all their matches in Dubai while the rest of the games will take place across three cities in Pakistan. The much-awaited clash of the tournament – the India vs Pakistan encounter will take place on February 23 in Dubai.
