New Delhi: India’s skipper Rohit Sharma finally returned to India after enjoying a long vacation post the T20 World Cup 2024 triumph. Rohit, who quit from the T20I cricket, will still continue leading India in the ODI format and is in Mumbai for the ODI series against Sri Lanka starting on August 2. The skipper is expected to fly to Pallekele for the series in couple of days time.
Upon his arrival in the city, he received a heroic welcome as fans in large numbers gathered outside the airport and the stadium to meet and greet the star captain. Meanwhile, a video of the Indian player from the airport has gone viral on social media where he can be seen forgetting his stuff. Rohit, who is well-know for his forgetful behaviour once again hogged the headlines for the same.

In the video, Rohit can be seen forgetting the number of bags he had carried for his trip as he firstly asks one of his members to bring all the seven bags and eventually corrects himself and says that bring all the eight bags. The hilarious video caught the attention of the social media users who were left in splits after seeing the funny side of the Indian skipper.

Meanwhile, during his vacation, Rohit made a special visit to Wimbledon and then also went to the USA, where he inaugurated a cricket academy. The Indian skipper is enjoying a quality time after the historic win as it meant a lot for him as a captain. While the T20I matches will begin on Saturday, the ODI series comprising three games will commence on Friday. Along with Rohit, star batter Virat Kohli is also expected to reach Sri Lanka by July 29.
