Telangana: School teacher carries students on shoulders wading through rain water

A school teacher in Komarambheem Asifabad district carried students on his shoulders while wading through a stream of rain water to the students’ village after school.

The children in Jaihindpur, Penchikalpet on Friday, July 26 reportedly made their way to school after walking through a small stream. Due to more rain through the day, the children found it difficult to wade through the water by themselves.

Primary school teacher Santhosh carried 10 students one after the other through the stream and ensured they reached home safely. Other villagers also helped the teacher to carry kids across the stream.

This comes after heavy rain lashed Komarambheem Asifabad over the last few days. As per IMD forecast, Telangana will likely see sustainable surface winds ranging from 30-40 kmph for the next three days and light to moderate rain along with thundershowers can also be expected.

Southwest monsoon has been normal in Telangana.
