New Delhi: After the exciting two legs of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11, the final leg will begin on December 3 in Pune. This season has been one of the best PKL seasons as apart from table topper Haryana Steelers, no team has qualified for the PKL 11 playoffs. The first two legs of PKL were in Hyderabad and Noida and in the final leg, the blockbuster Maharashtra derby will kick off the final leg of PKL 11.
The defending Champion Puneri Paltan will take on U Mumba in the first match of Pune leg. Paltan have a roller coaster ride this season and they are placed in fifth position and will look to take home advantage in the last phase of PKL. While, Mumba will also look to give tough competition to the defending champion and they are placed in the seventh position on the points table.
Both teams have met each other once in this season, where Paltan defeated Mumba in the first leg of PKL 11. Paltan and Mumba have faced each other on 23 occasions in PKL history, in which both teams, have won 10 matches and three matches have been ended in a tie.
“PKL Season 11 has been one of the toughest we have seen so far. But, now in Pune, the Puneri Paltan, are keen to ensure that we make proper plans for all our opponents, and more importantly, execute them perfectly. In the first match of Pune’s leg, Bengaluru Bulls will take on Gujarat Giants on December 3, Tuesday. Both teams didn’t play to their potential in this season, The Bulls are at the bottom of the table and are almost eliminated from PKL 11. The Giants are in tenth position and their chances of going in playoffs are also looking slim.teams
