New Delhi: Former Pakistan cricketer believes Jasprit Bumrah should step away from Test cricket and focus on shorter formats. The star Indian speedster has managed his workload to stay available for the key matches across all formats. He led Team India to victory in the Perth Test.
Bumrah is currently the No.1 bowler in the ICC Test rankings. He is the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, taking 12 wickets at an average of 11.25. The five-match Test series is levelled at 1-1 after Australia won the pink-ball Test by 10 wickets at the Adelaide Oval.
‘Bumrah has a high risk of getting injured’: Shoaib Akhtar

He further added that fast bowlers struggle if the ball doesn’t seam and the team also start questioning their ability.
