New Delhi: Dabang Delhi defeated Bengal Warriorz at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 16, Monday. Delhi dominated Warriorz and beat them by 22 points margin. With this win, Delhi strengthened their position in the second spot in the points table with 69 points in 20 matches. They also became the second team to qualify for the PKL playoffs after the Haryana Steelers.
With this loss, Warriorz are almost eliminated from the tournament. They have only 40 points in 19 matches, Bengal didn’t play well in this season. Ashu Malik again scored a Super 10 in the match as he scored 17 points in the match against Warriorz.

In the second match of the night, Patna Pirates defeated U Mumba with a score line of 37-32. With this win, the Pirates moved to the third spot in the points table. Now they have 68 points in 19 matches and are on the verge of qualifying for the PKL 11 playoffs.
Mumba had the chance to make it to the top 4 positions before the match but now they are still in fifth spot in the points table. Pirates raiding duo Devank and Ayan both produced a match-winning performance against Mumba.
