New Delhi: Raghavi Bist must be living in a dreamland. Three days after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bought her for Rs 10 lacs at the Women’s Premier League (WPL), the 20-year-old Uttarakhand girl earned her maiden international cap.
Raghvi, who has done well for the India A side against Australia, was rewarded for her performances. The 20-year-old batting all-rounder replaced skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who missed the match due to a niggle in her knee she sustained while batting during the first T20I against West Indies. According to the BCCI, Harmanpreet’s progress is being monitored by the board’s medical team.

West Indies opt to field first in second T20I
Hayley Matthews, the West Indies skipper, won the toss and opted to field field first in Navi Mumbai. West Indies made a couple of changes and handed a maiden cap to Nerissa Crafton. Smriti Mandhana is leading the Indian side in the absence of Harmanpreet.
India lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first match by 49 runs on Sunday. A power-packed performance by the Indian batting unit including fifties from Jemim Rodrigues and Mandhana powered India to a comfortable victory in the opening T20I of the three-match series.
