Ancelotti was all praise for his side and the attitude of his players. He noted that the front line made a lot of difference, especially Vinicius Jr. The Italian manager also remarked on Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo’s brilliant performance that helped the side win a title “in the middle of a busy season”.

Ancelotti is one of the most succesful managers in the world currently having won titles in all of Europe’s top five leagues, England, Germany, Spain, Italy and France. In his two stints with Real Madrid, he has led the side to two Champions League titles and La Liga doubles in the last three seasons.

During his second stint at the helm of Madrid, following Zinedine Zidane, he has doubled his success at Real increasing the number of trophies in the cabinet of the Los Blancos. Overall, Anceloti has helped Real lift three Champions League titles, three European Super Cups, two Club World Cups, two Spanish Super Cups and an Intercontinental cup.

Real’s season had started low, after string of injuries put their star squad in jeopardy. Their summer buy Mbappe hadn’t fired much at the start of the season. Previous season’s top scorer Jude Bellingham was out for five games in the early part of the season and struggled to regain form.

They have revived in La Liga, occupying the third place behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and are divided by just one point to take away the top spot. The story hasn’t been too well in UEFA Champions League as the defending champions currently stand on 20th place and are in risk of being eliminated from the tournament if they finish below 24th spot.

With the FIFA Intercontinental triumph with Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti has led the side to 15 title triumphs, breaking Miguel Munoz’s long standing record.  Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
