New Delhi: Australian cricketers shared their views on the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), Indian cricket and the International Cricket Council (ICC) ahead of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) starting on Thursday, December 26. The likes of Steve Smith, Travis Head and Pat Cummins among others defined BCCI, ICC and Indian cricket in one word in a video that has gone viral on social media.
Their one-word answers reflected the rise of Indian cricket and BCCI over the last two decades. Aussie cricketers shared positive reviews of the Indian Cricket Board, which is the founder of the Indian Premier League – the most lucrative franchise-based T20 league in the world.

India and Australia aiming to wrest control
Both India and Australia are aiming to wrest control in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. With the series locked in at 1-1, both teams will look to seize the initiative in the Boxing Test in Melbourne. India started off the series with a thumping 295-run win in the opening Test at the Optus Stadium in Perth before Australia bounced back immediately in the second Test to restore parity.
It was a dominating performance by the hosts, who demolished the visitors, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, who returned to lead the side from paternal duties. The Day-Night Test in Adelaide ended up as a one-sided affair as the home side asserted their pink-ball dominance at home with a 10-wicket win.
India were fortunate in the third Test in Brisbane as a combination of rain, Jasprit Bumrah and tail-enders saved India from defeat.
