New Delhi: Indian ace batter Virat Kohli ended the Australia tour with another disappointment as he was dismissed a record eight times in nearly the same fashion in the Test series. Kohli was dismissed and caught out behind the stumps by the wicketkeeper or slips at all the times in the series.
Kohli made his walk one last time in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 when India was on 47-2 as both openers were dismissed by Scott Boland. Kohli just played 12 balls and was dismissed in identical fashion by Boland.
Boland also made a record of dismissing most time Kohli in a Test series as the Australian pacer got his man record five times in the series. It was also the fifth single-digit score for Kohli in the ongoing series.
After the dismissal, Kohli looked furious and punched himself on his waist, and walked out of the ground with his head down. Once again Kohli let down the Indian fans with the same off-side failure.

Rishabh Pant scored a fiery half-century in the second innings as he scored 61 runs in just 33 balls. In the SCG test match, where all batters are batting with less than 50 strike rate. Pant left everyone behind and scored his half-century with a monstrous 184.85 strike rate in the match.
Another Test series failure for Virat Kohli
