New Delhi: Rey Mysterio’s win against Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins beating Drew McIntyre in the main event were the major highlights from the latest episode of WWE RAW this week. The latest episode of WWE RAW took place at the American Airlines Center in Miami, Florida. The show started with a feud between Jey Uso and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther before some in-ring action.
Jey and Gunther had a heated verbal exchange before the World Heavyweight Champion hit Jey with a punch. Jey responded with punches and unleashed a superkick that sent Gunther out of the ring. Jey then picked up his Heavyweight Championship belt amid a loud roar from the crowd. However, Gunther eventually grabbed the belt and walked away as Jey celebrated in the ring.
Mysterio defeated Kingston by pinfall in the first match of the day. Mysterio was attacked by Xavier Woods from behind after his victory against Kingston. Woods joined hands with Kingston to attack Mysterio in the ring before LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro checked on Mysterio as the New Day guys left the ring.
Nia Jax defeated Bayley in the second match after pulling off her signature splash off the turnbuckle. While Bayley did come close to winning the match on some occasions, it was Jax who eventually pinned Bayley after her destructive move. Jax was attacked by Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley after the game and the two engaged in a fierce fight.
Penta defeated Pete Dunne via pinfall in the Grade B next. Penta got the better of Dunne with a Penta Driver move. A promo was played next where Logan Paul was heard telling his rivals and fans how it must suck to be a ‘Logan Paul hater’. CM Punk was next interviewed by Jackie Redmond where he bragged about beating Drew McIntyre.
Damage CTRL defeated Pure Fusion Collective in the next match with a pinfall. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL dominated Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler of Pure Fusion Collective in the match.
Seth Rollins beats Drew McIntyre
In a Wrestlemania 40 rematch, Seth Rollins defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall. It was an intense fight between the two with both wrestlers pulling off some of their signature moves. Rollins hit a Superflex before McIntyre came up with two clotheslines. Rollins did jackknife pin to win the game but the feud continued inside the ring even after Rollins’ victory as McIntyre attacked him again post the match.
