New Delhi: India’s premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah maintained his stranglehold in the International Cricket Council’s rankings for bowlers in Tests while Ravindra Jadeja remained on top of the all-rounders’ rankings in red-ball cricket.

Bumrah had attained the highest rating for an Indian bowler at 907 points ahead of the fifth and final Border-Gavaskar Test against Australia in Sydney and now has a career-best 908 points tally.

Australia skipper Pat Cummins (841), who led them to a 3-1 win over India in a home BGT series, is second on the bowlers’ list, just ahead of top South Africa pacer 837.

Not only Jadeja, every other all-rounder maintained their positions in the traditional format with the Indian (400 points) being ahead of Africa’s Marco Jansen (294) and Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan (263).

Pakistan pair moves up

Pakistan batter Saud Shakeel and bowler Noman Ali were the big movers in the Test rankings, entering the top 10 in their respective disciplines.
