The hosts Newcastle had a rather quick start to the game. Joelinton’s long-range attempt was saved by Leno, but Guimaraes was deemed to have been offside prior to the opportunity. However, soon after Gordon’s tempting cross picked Guimaraes, who had been in the heart of things in the first few minutes, and he headed just over Leno’s crossbar this time. The hosts just didn’t let the Cottagers breathe early on when after some excellent play by Gordon, Newcastle surged forward and the ball found Murphy, but his long-range attempt went wide.
Fulham’s first real chance came after a while when Jimenez snuck in behind the Newcastle defence as Fulham advanced forward, but the Mexican missed his attempt from a close angle and it drifted across goal. However, Newcastle’s early pressure was rewarded in the 37th minute as after being left unmarked in the area, Gordon’s cross from the left side took a huge deflection and landed to Murphy, who slammed home past Leno.
The second half began with Fulham threatening early. Traore went in behind but his shot was stopped. Shortly after, Smith Rowe lashed out at Dubravka directly from a distance. However, they were eventually rewarded with an equaliser when Raul Jimenez managed to score in the 61st minute to draw his side levelled. However, late in the day, Periera’s teasing free-kick was swung into the box, and substitute Muniz was there at the front post with a deft finish past Dubvravka to complete a remarkable comeback for Fulham.

It was dram at the last as Southampton won a Premier League match! Ipswich and Southampton headed into the changing rooms level at 1-1 after a thrilling first half. Aribo’s goal past Muric gave the visitors the lead in the first twenty minutes. Ten minutes later, Delap, who had done well to beat his man before getting the ball quickly to Ramsdale, would counter on behalf of the hosts scoring his ninth of the season. Shortly after the equalizer, Broadhead had a fantastic opportunity to make it 2-1, but Ramsdale managed to keep it levelled.
It was a rather quite second half until the 87th minute of the game when Sulemana’s first attempt was stopped by Muric but Onuachu managed to reach the ball first. The Saints took the lead when the Nigerian extended his lengthy leg in front of Greaves to put it past the helpless Ipswch keeper. They managed to win their first away game of the season.

What a tremendous performance from the Toffees. Everton had dominated the first half and led their relegation-threatened rivals Leicester City 3-0 at the interval at Goodison Park. Doucoure scored the game’s first goal just ten seconds into the match. When the Leicester defence failed to handle Pickford’s long ball, Doucoure sprinted onto it and finished beyond Hermansen. After just six minutes, Tarkowski played a ball to Beto and the striker’s finish into the bottom corner of the net gave the home side a 2-0 lead.
In the second minute of added time, Beto scored his second goal of the game to make it three goals. Everton kept on threatening in the second half and eventually did get their fourth goal when Illiman Ndiaye managed to score late to give Moises’ side a big win against Leicester.

It wasn’t easy for the Reds, but they certainly managed to cruise past Bournemouth to extend their lead to nine points at the top. After the first ten minutes into the game, Kluivert got the ball down, drove to the byline, and then shot from a tight angle. After making a save, Alisson handles the next corner excellently. The hosts came aginisingly close to scoring the opener when Semenyo did brilliantly to beat Alexander-Arnold and Konate, before firing a shot that hit the post.
However, Gakpo pursued a bouncing ball from Robertson while driving down the left-central channel. He went down after a touch inside the penalty box as the ref pointed straight to the penalty spot. Mohamed Salah made it 1-0, converting the penalty in the 30th minute. Few moments later, Bournemouth found the back of the net but it was disallowed. Kerkez slid across a fantastic ball, and Brooks hammered a spectacular finish into the bottom-left corner. But the flag was immediately raised for offside as Kerkez was just caught there.
After Jones dispossessed Kluivert, Nunez set Diaz off on his trails. He cut it back to Jones who then found Salah on the right. He got his head up and bent home a beautifully-shaped left-footed effort across goal to make it 2-0. That was all as despite Bournemouth showing the fighting spirit, they managed to lose the game to the best, as Liverpool managed to win it.
