New Delhi: India beat England by 15 runs in the fourth T20I at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The Men in Blue lost three quick wickets in the powerplay as Saqib Mahmood dismissed Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma cheaply. Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube forged an 87-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Both the all-rounders scored their half-centuries while Abhishek and Rinku also made crucial contributions with the bat.

Chasing the 182-run target, England got off to a sensational start as openers Duckett and Salt stitched a fifty-run partnership for the first wicket. Bishnoi removed Duckett on the final ball of the powerplay. Salt and Buttler followed him in quick succession as the Three Lions slipped from 62/1 to 65/3.

Harshit Rana replaced Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute and made an immediate impact by dismissing Livingstone on the second T20I delivery. Brook showed resilience and fought back with a stunning 25-ball half-century. He fell immediately after scoring a half-century to Varun and Carse got out on a duck. Overton was batting brilliantly and England believed they got a chance but Harshit Rana dismissed him and Suryakumar Yadav and Co. got the control of the match and won it by 15 runs. .
