‘Family ko rok ke thodi na photo loonga’: Virat Kohli irked by fans asking for selfie

New Delhi: Senior Indian batter Virat Kohli recently spend some quality time with his family members in Mumbai on the occasion of his 36th birthday. It is beyond question that the Indian batting mainstay has a massive following not just in India but across the globe for the brand of cricket he has played for more than a decade-and-a-half.

It is inevitable that wherever Kohli goes, he will be thronged by cricket fans for picture requests and autographs. The same was the case during his time in Mumbai. Be it outside his accommodation or while traveling through airport, there is no spot where Kohli can escape the crowd.

In a recent video circulated on social media platforms, Kohli was surrounded by his fans outside an airport. Wearing a  debonair white t-shirt and light-blue jeans with a red cap on the top, Kohli obliged to a few picture requests both for fans and the paparazzi.

But then there was one point where he expressed his annoyance of being held constantly. He was heard saying ‘family ko rok ke thodi naa photo lunga tumhare saath (I can’t keep my family waiting to click pictures with you’ll) before he left from the spot politely. He even requested some of the photographers to not take his pictures at a particular spot.
