New Delhi: Elon Musk-led Tesla Inc has started hiring in India. This comes after Musk met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US. The electric-vehicle maker sought candidates for 13 roles, including customer-facing and back-end jobs, according to advertisements on Monday on its LinkedIn page.
On its LinkedIn job, Tesla mentioned that it is looking for candidates for 13 positions across Mumbai and Delhi. The company is looking for customer-facing and back-end positions, such as service technicians, advisory roles, customer engagement managers, and delivery operations specialists.
It may be noted that at least five of the positions, Tesla said that service technician and various advisory roles, were available in both the cities, while the rest of the job vacancies like customer engagement manager were for Mumbai.
