New Delhi: WWE legend Randy Orton made a surprise return and shocked the fans at the Elimination Chamber. His unexpected comeback happened after Kevin Owens beat Sami Zayn in a hard-fought Unsanctional match. The fight was already being praised as one of the greatest WWE matches in recent years.
Owens pinned Zayn after delivering two Powerbombs on the ring apron. However, the night was far from over. KO attempted to deliver a Package Piledriver on Zayn outside the ring, but Orton’s iconic music was played in the arena, which sent the crowd into a frenzy. Orton slowly walked out from the backstage, soaking in the electric atmosphere before confronting Owens.
After a long stare-down, Orton struck Owens with his trademark RKO. The WWE star then teased his signature Punt Kick, but Owens managed to escape from the event just in time. Orton turned his anger on the security guards who were trying to restrain him and delivered multiple RKOs before finally standing tall and greeting the fans with his classic pose on the ring corner.
The feud between Zayn and Owens started a few years back, with the pair sharing a history of betrayal, friendship and reconciliation. After Zayn joined The Bloodline in 2002, he betrayed Owens. But, he later realized his mistake and united with Owens in 2023. The bond defeated The Usos at WrestleMania 39, where they became the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes during his fight with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. During the build-up to the Royal Rumble 2025, Owens tried to recruit Zayn to support him against Rhodes but was unsuccessful. After losing to Rhodes at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Owens’ frustration boiled over and he attacked Zayn with a Package Piledriver in a Chamber qualifying match against CM Punk on RAW.
