New Delhi: Businesswoman Kavya Maran has been the face of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for quite long now. Her regular visits to the stadiums to lend them support is well-known. She was present during her team’s Thursday fixture against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and it seemed the broadcaster made sure to pan the camera at her almost every minute of the game.
Kavya has been a fan-favorite since the last few IPL seasons due to her elegance and charm and fans are quite interested in what she does during the stadium visits. She can be seen waving the Orange Army flag, cheering for her side, or just praying quietly when her team is in trouble. Unlike other owners of the IPL franchises, Kavya never misses a game of SRH and always marks her presence at the venue. This is one of the reasons she is a regular sighting during the SRH clashes and which also makes her tend to go viral after almost every game. similar has been the story during the IPL 2022, 2023, and 2024 as well as their were several instances when Kavya became a fan-favorite and trended on the social media.
As far as SRH’s IPL 2025 campaign is concerned, they started off well by beating Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their season opener but suffered a setback on Thursday as LSG beat them by five wickets. They are currently placed seventh in the points table and will face Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday in their next fixture, scheduled in Visakhapatnam.
