New Delhi: Suzlon Energy shares will be in focus on May 30, 2205, Friday as the renewable energy company declared a nearly five-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,181 crore for the Q4 of 2024-25. Suzlon, one of the world’s leading renewable energy solutions providers, had recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 254 crore in the last quarter of 2023-4, a BSE filing showed.
The Suzlon stock ended at Rs 65.44 per equity share on May 29, 2205. The counter has given a return of over 13 per cent in the last one month. Suzlon Energy share touched its all time high in 2024.
Suzlon Energy net profit jumps nearly 5-fold in Q4 FY25
Suzlon Energy posted the best year in a decade Profit Before Tax (PBT) at Rs 1,447 crores, while its total income increased to Rs 3,825.19 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 2,207.43 crore a year ago.
In full fiscal 2024-25, the consolidated net profit increased to Rs 2,072 crore as against Rs 660 crore in 2023-24. The total income in FY25 surged to Rs 10,993.13 crore from Rs 6,567.51 crore in FY24.
“FY25 performance sets the stage for Suzlon’s next phase of strategic evolution and market leadership. Achieving our highest profitability in a decade, strong cash reserves, and a record order book are the direct outcomes of our disciplined business transformation and sharp operational focus,” Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said.
In fiscal FY25, Suzlon Energy recorded deliveries of 1.55 GW. The company’s WTG (wind turbine generator) business surged 23 per cent. The S144 wind turbine has emerged as the company’s top-performing product as it represents 91 per cent of the order book.
