Final vote share of political parties in Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Telangana

Hyderabad: The Congress and BJP managed to secure 8 seats each while AIMIM won 1 seat and BRS lost all ground in Telangana and did not secure even one seat in the now concluded Lok Sabha elections.

However, let’s take a look at the vote share of each political party in the LS elections:

Congress’ vote share in the Lok Sabha elections stood at 40.10 percent as compared to their vote share in 2019, which was 29.79 percent. Congress candidates won 8,741,263 votes and emerged as the biggest party in the state.

BJP, whose vote share was 19.65 percent in 2019, managed to take it up to 35.08 percent in 2024. BJP candidates got 7,647,424 votes.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) also improved its vote share by a narrow margin from 2.80 percent in 2019 to 3.02 percent in 2024. Asaduddin Owaisi won his election with 6,59,278 votes, which is an improvement from 2019, where he won 5,17, 471 votes.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) vote share plummeted from 41.71 percent in 2019 to 16.68 percent in 2024. BRS candidates got 36,37,086 votes.

Other parties vote share stood at 3.90 percent with 8,50,177 votes.
