How to check EPF balance by giving missed call
EPFO members can give a missed call on 9966044425 from the registered mobile number. the individual will receive an SMS immediately after the call is disconnected. The SMS will detail the last contribution made in the respective EPFO account and also the balance amount. However, you can use this option only if your UAN is linked with your bank account, Aadhaar, or PAN.
EPF balance check via SMS
You can check EPF balance by sending a SMS.
You need to send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 7738299899.
In that message, write EPFOHO UAN. As soon as the message is delivered, you will receive a detailed SMS. The message will contains details of your current EPF balance.
EPF balance enquiry on EPFO portal
You can exercise EPF balance enquiry on EPFO portal. Follow the steps given below:
Go to and log in on passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/login
Enter your UAN, password, and captcha
You will get your passbook on EPFO portal
The passbook will contain details of contributions made from you and your employer along with the current balance.
Transfer EPF A/C to new company
