Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu put forth a proposal to meet Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on July 6 for discussions over AP Reorganisation Act to sort out issues.
In a letter to Revanth Reddy, AP CM wrote that close collaboration between the two Telugu states is important for sustained growth of Andhra and Telangana.
He further wrote, “There have been multiple discussions concerning issues arising from the Reorganisation Act, which hold significant implications for the welfare and advancement of our states. In light of this, I propose that we meet at your place on July 6, Saturday afternoon.
I firmly believe that a face-to-face meeting will provide us with an opportunity to engage on critical issues and collaborate effectively towards achieving mutually beneficial solutions for AP and Telangana,” he further wrote.
Naidu is expected to be in Delhi on July 4, 5 to meet PM Modi and will reach Hyderabad on the same evening to meet his counterpart on Saturday evening in Hyderabad.

On June 2, 2024, Hyderabad stopped being the shared capital of both states as per the Reorganisation Act. Hyderabad was made the common capital city of the two states for 10 years when the bifurcation took place in 2014.
