Indonesia: 36-Year-Old Woman Found Dead Inside Python’s Belly

Jakarta: Shocking news is coming in from Indonesia, where a 36-year-old woman found dead inside python snake’s belly.

This horrific incident is from Indonesia’s South Sulawesi province where a 36-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Siriati, was found dead inside the belly of a python.

The woman went missing on July 2nd, when she left her home in Siteba village to buy medicine for her sick child. Sadly, she never returned, alarmed by her absence, Ms. Siriati’s family started looking for here at nearby places.

During the search, Ms. Siriati’s husband, Mr. Adiansa, made a chilling discovery. Approximately 500 meters from their house, he found his wife’s slippers and pants abandoned on the ground.

Python Swallowed Woman

Not far from the clothing, Mr. Adiansa spotted a large python, roughly 10 metres long. The snake’s unusually swollen belly raised suspicion, after which the search ended in tragedy.

Mr. Adiansa called for the villagers’ assistance in capturing the python. After some struggle, they cut open the snake’s stomach, where they found Ms. Siriati’s body.

This is the second tragic incident of a Python-related death in South Sulawesi within a month. The rare occurrence highlights the dangers posed by large pythons in the region.
